"Naomi Hat from Recreation World in Franklin TN: After she got dunked a few times, Naomi was in the dunking booth at Wynonna's fan club party. When she was getting out of the tank, I told her that I loved the hat she was wearing. She smiled and took it off and gave it to me after autographing it. I treasure it and its a great part of my Wyseum.
Moompa: Naomi was doing a book signing in Nashville on Feb 3, 2004. I told her I was seeing Wynonna that same night in Franklin TN. She said 'I want you to do something for me.' I said 'Sure,' so she takes out a Sharpie and writes "moompa" down my arm and said 'show this to Wy she will laugh.' I did show it to Wy and she did laugh. Neither ever told me what the message was and I loved this it was private between them. It was cool that Naomi trusted me with that. A favorite memory.
Mawmaw: Naomi signed a picture that we had taken together at a book signing. She signed it "Love Mawmaw" .... I treasured that because it felt intimate. I have followed the Judds since 1984.
Collard Greens: Naomi was on her book tour and stopped at The BI-LO Center in Greenville, SC, to speak at a food show. She smelled collard greens and asked for some. I ended up getting the cup, spoon and napkins. They have become legendary and lots of fans that visit my Wyseum ask to see them. Always a fun story to tell even if a bit weird..LOL."
