In 2002, Naomi began writing an advice column for Country Weekly magazine called "Ask Naomi." In announcing the column, she said, “I’m thrilled to have this forum to be able to speak with the fans. People know that I’ve never been afraid to say exactly what I’m thinking and I’ve never been short on opinions. And, I’m good for 60 words per minute with gusts up to 150. Writing this column for Country Weekly will be a natural extension of my career.
