Judd Food Drive, 2001

Judd Food Drive, 2001

July 4, 2001, marked the 6th annual Food Drive led by Naomi in her hometown of Ashland, Kentucky. With the support of Naomi and Ramey-Estep Homes, an organization dedicated to helping children in need, the drive aimed to collect 40,000 pounds of food to help stock local Appalachian food pantries.

Naomi's continued service in fighting poverty earned her the AARP 2006 Inspire Award. This award recognizes outstanding individuals who make the world a better place.

"Service is the work of the soul. No matter what's on our own family table, if we can help provide for one another, we can grow together in strength and love." - Naomi Judd
