In 1993 and 1994, Naomi embarked on an extensive book tour, meeting fans and signing copies of her autobiography, Love Can Build a Bridge. She cherished these moments of connection, believing that sharing her story not only helped others but also helped her heal. “Putting the book together was like assembling an emotional jigsaw puzzle,” she reflected. “And you see how everyone in the family came to be who they are and how we are all interrelated in life.”
While she hoped the book would offer guidance and hope to those facing their own struggles, its core purpose was to chronicle her family’s story for future generations.
“The obvious dedication would have been to Wynonna and Ashley. I call them the joy of my being, the jewels of my crown. But I want my future descendants to know who we were and how we lived.”
