Naomi and Wynonna show their support of the Tennessee Special Olympics. Humanitarian efforts were a key element of Naomi's life. Among many initiatives, she also participated in anti-violence programs, was on the board of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, promoted volunteer work, and founded the Judd Annual Food Drive to stock the Appalachia pantry.
